The last of United States troops have left Iraq and crossed the border into Kuwait the binging to end the almost 9 year old war in Iraq. The Iraq war began back in March of 2003 with the bombing of Baghdad and the quick removal of Iraq President Saddam Hussein. With the nation still in somewhat of a sense of turmoil many think the politically motivated decision to remove US troops at this juncture is much to soon. Conversely, with the war claiming slightly less that 4,500 lives of American service men and women many are glad the war is finally coming to an end. Some say it is way too late for it to be over.

The big question however, is what will become of the economy, the Iraqi Dinar currency, the Iraqi stock market and the nation as a whole? There is much speculation especially Dinar speculation, but no one really knows what will happen. However, many people think that now without an American troop presence, Iraq will will return to a market economy and many holding the Dinar will be able to possibly make money as they sell their currency notes they literally bought for pennies.

While many US troops and their families are glad that the conflict is finally over and everyone gets to see a homecoming, others feel that Iraqi troops and the politicians now running the country are ill equipped to face some of the serious threats to stability in Iraq. While there will be about 150 American troops in Iraq to oversee training and equipping of the Iraq Army, none of these troops will be doing any fighting thus leaving all possibility of handling any conflicts only in the hands of Iraqis.

The next few months will be critical for the stability or Iraq and those speculating on the value of the Dinar could win big if things settle down and the economy prospers. Keep an eye on things and keep tuned to the news as keep your eyes on the value of the Dinar. You could win big.

What does the official end of war in Iraq by United States troops mean for Iraqi Dinar speculation? As American troops leave Iraq it is possible that more contractors will be asked to and have the opportunity to come into this war torn nation and rebuild its fragile infrastructure as well as continue to build homes and businesses so desperately needed in the country.

However, with the US troops pulling out and not being able to protect at least American interests on any large scale, it may be a little more of a security risk for American citizens to work in Iraq. There will be private security firms to protect US interests and working personnel, but if a big firefight ensues or someone gets kidnapped or a huge bomb goes off somewhere, the American troops with their huge firepower and air support won't be there to take care of business.

There is the speculation though that Iraq left to it's own control will eventually function as a normal society and peace and order will return. What the Dinar needs to gain more value is of course stability and trust, trust that businesses will survive and prosper, trust that the Bank of Iraq won't corrupt the process of Dinar valuation, trust that terrorist forces won't run the show and the simple trust that Iraqi citizens can walk the streets and go to the corner market without getting blown up or kidnapped.

No one can really say what will happen to the Iraqi Dinar with the end of the war in Iraq, but we do know that the next few years in Iraq will be critical for stability and a prosperous economy. Hopefully, businesses and money will flow into Iraq and bring the value of the Dinar up creating some wealthy people for those that have invested in the Dinar currency.

With most of the world rejoicing that number one terrorist Osama Bin Laden is dead many want to know if this will affect the price of the Iraqi Dinar. With the reaction of stock futures and Asian markets early Monday morning it is apparent that investors are happy about the news. However, it remains to be seen if this will be just a temporary euphoria that will only last a few days or if the news will help extend markets for the long term.

Right now as of the time of this post, Japan's Nikkei index is up 154 points, closing for the first time above the 10,000 mark since the devastating earthquake of March 11. The price of crude oil has also slipped the most in a two week period by $1.72 a barrel and the US Dollar is up on news of Bin Laden's death.

With investors feeling less edgy and probable stability being brought to Iraq and possibly the rest of the Middle East region, investors in the Iraqi Dinar should certainly feel much more confident in their purchases of the Iraqi currency. If the leader of al Qaeda, the world's largest terrorist organization is no longer leading his masses, the economy of Iraq is sure to take a turn for the better as many more people will feel at ease to spend and start businesses as the threat of terrorist activity should subside. Now this isn't a sure thing as there are probably plenty of less charismatic leaders waiting in the wings to take Bin Laden's place and there may even be a slight upsurge in violence on news of Bin Laden's killing, but the long term outlook should mean more stability.

US stock futures are also up on Bin Laden news thus setting a precedent for possible stability of the Iraqi economy as well. Think long term though as there is always a bit of a reactionary surge in markets after such positive news. There are still plenty of reasons to be very wary of the world economy especially with mounting debt in the United States and Greece instability. Be cautious as you venture into currency trading and or buying large quantities of Iraqi currency.

Please offer your opinions and your take on the news of Osama Bin Laden's death. Will it or will it not affect the Iraqi Dinar? Leave your comments below.

Right now the Arab world seems to be on fire. What started in Tunisia has now spread to Cairo Egypt and beyond. Go to Youtube.com and search for Cario riots or Egypt riot sand you will find hundreds of videos, some from participants themselves of wide scale rioting with tens of thousands of people in the streets.

It took me a while to figure out what was going on especially since everything seems to start in Tunisia and just spread from there. It seems as though rioters and citizens of Egypt and beyond are demanding the Egyptian leader Mubarak to either not run in the upcoming presidential elections or some are even calling for his ouster immediately. In the Egyptian city of Suez it is being reported that 5 people have been killed in riots.

Egypt's military has now been deployed to the streets to try and quell the violence or at least restore some order to the country. While thousands are defying a nationwide curfew, internet access has been cut off or severely limited by Egypt's largest internet provider. Many of the protests have been enhanced by activists using social sites like Twitter and Facebook to inform protesters where to gather and keep them comprised of the situation and ongoing meetings and gatherings.

Financial analysts are worried the crude oil might be affected as the Suez canal may be closed. However, as of this report that is only speculation. Other stock markets around the world as said to be affected as well due to the turmoil in the middle east and northern Africa. Others however, don't buy the notion that rioting half way around the globe has anything to do with the level of the US stock market and I'd have to agree with that assessment. Many financial analysts and reporters tend to grasp at straws because they really don't have a clue as to what drives the market. Just have a look at these kooky headlines, many contradictory, from the same day.

The big question for this blog and you readers is whether all this turmoil will affect the Iraqi Dinar in any way. At this point it is anybody's guess. However, you can keep apprised of the current Dinar exchange rate here and if you want to buy Iraqi dinar you can go here.

The website Dinar Daddy is claiming that between 30 and 34 politicians have defected from supporting Iyad Allawi‘s Iraqiya bloc inthe Iraqi government and will now give their support to Nouri al-Maliki‘s efforts to build the next Iraqi government in the war torn nation.

The rumors of this action to support Nouri al-Maliki are still unconfirmed but it is being reported by two websites, one being Dinar Daddy and the other being Iraq Business News. At the present time it is being reported that Today's parliament session is being delayed till Thursday, Jalal Talabani will still be President of Iraq and Ayad Allawi will keep his position as Head of Parliament. Nouri al-Maliki will retain his position as Prime Minister of Iraq.

Most of Iraq's neighbors are in agreement with this change of support except for Saudi Arabia. Whether or not this action will affect the valuation of the Iraqi Dinar is anyone's guess. However, any hint of stability with a new Iraqi Government should help strengthen the currency.

On another note, the price of gold skyrocketed more than $15 today up to a record price of over $1,409 per ounce. This may be due to the Quantitative easing or QE2 by the Federal Reserve in the United States. People are probably trying to preserve their wealth before the dollar drops through the floor because the US is printing money.

Since gold is an alternative investment just as the Iraqi Dinar, I thought for a change we'd explain the process of gold extraction just for fun. Gold extraction is a complicated process that consists of many different methods of acquiring gold from mines. Upon mining, gold is generally sold for a cost that is relevant to its content, weight and purity, making the easiest type of mining for “free” gold, or gold that is not attached to rocks.

Free gold is affordable, because there isn’t a lot of expense put into production, making it much easier for miners and mining companies to get their money’s worth from free gold than from gold that has to be extracted from rocks and walls of a mine and from the ore found in the mine.

“Free” gold is extracted very simply from piles of dirt and rocks, using the simple concept of gravity. If you take a pile of dirt, and run it through a water bath on a screen, the dirt will seep through the screen, leaving the gold and other large rocks left behind on the top of the screen. Gravity plays a large role in getting gold nuggets out of dirt and rocks, because gold is denser than most rocks. This is the way that gold was mined by early miners, and this process is still useful today.

In a later post we will discuss the process of extracting gold from ore and cyanide leaching.

Think trading on the New York Stock Exchange is risky in its 2 to 3 year roller coaster ride? Try investing with the Iraqi Stock Exchange. Back earlier this year trading sessions were routinely canceled for suicide bombing threats (employees can't get to work when the city is locked down in these kind of events) and other simple things like lack of electrical power because of Baghdad's intermittent grid.

The Iraq Stock Exchange opened in June 2004 after replacing the Baghdad Stock Exchange being in place since before the 2003 invasion of Iraq by coalition forces. In 2004 the ISX opened with 15 companies being represented and at the present time there are now more than 100 companies on the exchange. When the exchange opened in 2004, trading was done th eold fashioned was, with pen and paper and traders yelling trades across the floor where brokers then wrote on whiteboards the current price of a company's stock.

Fortunately in February of 2009 that all changed and a computerized system of keeping track of trades, but not electronic trading itself, was put in place. On April 19, 2009 electronic trading was put into place and there are currently only 5 stocks available to be traded that way with more being added in the next several months.

The Iraqi Stock Exchange is small compared to the NYSE as in 2006 there were only 92 trading sessions held trading a total of 58 billion shares. The trades had a total value of 146 billion Iraqi Dinars or $146 million USD and were actually 38,000 individual trades made. Currently the trading floor is only open 6 hours a week.

There you have a simple run down of the ISX as a fledgling market. The market is currently dominated by very wealthy Iraqis and the trades are called in from outside the country. Is it worth your time to invest in this kind of market? Maybe you should just buy Iraqi dinars on eBay and hope they will go up some day.

A lot of people, maybe even you, are looking to invest inthe Iraqi Dinar, but they aren't sure just where to purchase dinar. There are some dinar scams out there on the internet such as dealers selling the old dinar and not the new one which replaced the old one in January of 2004.

You must be careful when you buy the dinar and make sure that you get the new Iraqi Dinar and not the old one. While a few examples of the old dinar may hold some numismatic value, they are no longer accepted as a legal currency in Iraq. Therefore, if someone trys to sell you the old dinar as a good investment, please don't waste your money because they are worthless as an exchange for goods in the country.

There are several places you can purchase dinar and one of the more popular places is eBay. At any one time there are usually several hundred auctions for the Iraqi dinar on eBay. Of course, you always must be careful when doing business on eBay to make sure you are not being scammed. However, If you know what you're doing you will more than likely always end up with a good deal.

The trick when purchasing the dinar, or anything for that matter, is to just make sure you read the sellers feedback that you are thinking of doing business with. Just because someone has a negative feedback doesn't necessaily mean they are a bad seller because sometimes there are bad buyers. If you read the individual feedback it will tell you what's up. But if you do find too many negatives, it's probably not a good idea to do business with that person.

You can slo buy Iraqi dinar from dealers across the nation, but here again, you must be sure of who you are dealing with and what you are buying so you don't end up with something you didn't want. At the present time banks and other financial institutions are not exchanging the Iraq dinar, it must be sold to private buyers or through eBay.

If you are interested and want to own the dinar Iraqi dinar as an investment, you can purchase dinar here.

Some of those individuals and investors who are interested in investing in the Iraqi dinar are also interested in the dinar for the short term. Forex currency traders buy and sell foreign currencies many times daily and make their money on the very small changes (known as PIPS) in the daily rate of exchange between one currency and another.

Anyone can enter into trading Forex as long as you know what you are doing. It is a huge market and trades what is extimated to be almost $4 trillion in currencies every day. There is plenty of room for small FX traders and large traders who handle millions of dollars in currencies daily, but it is not for the faint of heart, you must know what you are doing so you can make a profit or you may lose your shirt.

Because of the complicated nature of the Foreign Exchange Market there is a lot of automated Forex trading software on the market to help people make thir trades and keep track of their currencies. What some of these forex programs do is automatically trade for you. All you have to do is set up the software with your own parameters and the automated trading robots do all the work for you and hopefully you will profit.

Because of the sheer numbers of currencies such as the Iraqi Dinar and the incredible amount of volume that is traded every day, you do need some kind of a program to help you keep track of what you are doing and to identify potential trades that can make you money. There's astandard trading software known as the MetaTrader 4 platform available from most Forex brokers, but on top of that many people like these automated Forex Robots for to take the hassle out of currency exchange.

There are several Forex trading robots on the market including No Loss Robot, Forex Megadroid, IvyBot, Forex Rebellion, Forex Godfather and the most popular one, FAP Turbo. FAP Turbo outsells all other trading robots and even the next closest one by almost 3 times the volume. There must be some reason for that.

FAP Turbo Review

The main reason people add FAP Turbo to their trading arsenal is because they want a piece of software that will do their Forex trading for them without having to understand everything there is to know about the market. There is all sorts of technical analysis, charting, global news and lots of other data that many people just don't have time to sift through.

The great thing about the Forex Market that is different than the DOW stock market is that it is open 24 hours a day except on weekends. FAP Turbo is designed to work on your computer 24/7 the full time the markets are open. If you can't keep yout PC on all the time, some people recommend getting a VPS server to host your Forex software so it can trade all the time for you.

You don't need any previous knowledge of the Forex market to trade with FAP Turbo. All you have to do is download it, install it and it does all the work for you. Of course any knowledge you have of trading currencies is always helpful. The creators of FAP Turbo claim that the software is capable of doubling your money ever single month. While that may or may not be true, it is important to check it out for yourself before you start trading real money.

Fortunately, you can open up dummy accounts with most traders and install the MataTrader 4 platform on your computer, download and plug-in FAP Turbo to the main platform and go about trading with make believe money until you are comfortable with how the systems work. Once you are comfortable with how everything works, then and only then do you start trading with your own real money.

If you are interested in Forex Trading the Iraqi Dinar and any other currency, you should consider checking out FAP Turbo to see if it can make the job easier for you.
